Lasers


In the Fall of 2001 we remodeled the Long Room and added our new high-power ultra-fast pulse laser lab. Professor Zenghu Chang and Research Associate Bing Shan are assembling the "Kansas State Light Source" to allow us to do experiments in higher-order harmonic generation, photoionization and photon-atom interactions.

The photos below document to remodeling and initial installation of components in the new lab.
