From the fall of 2011 through the end of spring 2012, the James R. Macdonald Lab has been remodeling. Our various laser-atom studies have displaced some of our old particle accelerators, and have grown beyond the space we originally allotted for them.
In December, the long-awaited network rewiring of Cardwell Hall finally began! To avoid disrupting classes, the contractors began hanging races and pulling wire in the JRM Lab. Progress continued on the MOT restoration, and equipment began to appear in HITS.
