From the fall of 2011 through the end of spring 2012, the James R. Macdonald Lab has been remodeling. Our various laser-atom studies have displaced some of our old particle accelerators, and have grown beyond the space we originally allotted for them.
The beams supporting the roof of the PULSAR lab are being erected. These look strong enough to hold up all the shelves destined to hang above the optics tables.
