From the fall of 2011 through the end of spring 2012, the James R. Macdonald Lab has been remodeling. Our various laser-atom studies have displaced some of our old particle accelerators, and have grown beyond the space we originally allotted for them.
The western floor around PULSAR was done first, then the small eastern floor space between PULSAR and ECR. In the meantime, service wiring got done in the laser room and the big vacuum pump arrived.
