Samuel lived at Nissequogue, on the west side of the "Horse Race" road. His first land was probably the 100 acres each that he and his brother Adam received in Stony Brook neck. On 29 August 1688, a deed from his father conveyed to him the dwelling and all buildings and lands then in his possession, with additional lands.
