"Jesse Woodhull, (Colonel), 4th generation, born February 10, 1735, was the third son and
seventh child of Nathaniel Wodhull and Sarah Smith. He married in the year 1753, Hester,
daughter of Nathaniel DuBois, of New Paltz, New York. She was born October 31, 1734,
and died November 29,1808. He died February 4, 1795."

d. 29 Nov 1808, daughter of Nathaniel and Gertrude (Bruyn) DuBois, of Orange County, N.Y.
Jesse Woodhull settled in Blagg's Cove, Orange County, and at the beginning of the Revolution
was, as colonel, in command of the regiment of militia mustered from Cornwall, then including a
part of what is now Blooming Grove and Monroe."
