Tornado

Manhattan was struck by a tornado on the night of 11 June 2008. One touchdown point was on campus, destroying the roofs of the SAE house and the nuclear reactor, skinning the Wind Erosion Lab, and doing extensive damage to Cardwell Hall and other buildings. More news and photos are available from the KSU Weather News, the KSU Photo Gallery, or from the Manhattan Mercury. Fuzzy video of the tornado on-campus is available from KTKA.
