All users MUST wear the appropriate eye protection when working around lasers. You must also read and know our laser safety rules. Failure to do so could cost you your sight.

COVID-19 at JRM:

COVID-19 ar K-State:
All lab users must be certified in general safety by JRM once a year. You should study our guide to appropriate laser safety eyewear and our safety training tutorial, and then take the JRM safety exam.
Users of the lab must also be certified via the K-State laser safety training program. Please read these instructions for registration and training. If you are re-certifying there is a step-by-step guide to re-testing. Users actively handling the lasers must further demonstrate proficiency at those tasks. Appointments should be made for that specialized training.
